Delete your account and data
It is done from inside the app, it is immediate and it is permanent.

In short: Eikos works without an account. One is only created if you use the included AI, and you can delete it —with all of its server-side data— from inside the app, at any time, at no cost and without writing to anyone. Deletion is permanent.
Do I even have an account?
Almost certainly not. The statistical engine, the guides, the exercises, projects, the notebook, the R and Python console, reports, exports and AI with your own key all work without an account and offline. The only things that need an account are Eikos Pro's included AI — the one that runs on a key Eikos provides, with a monthly allowance — and the subscription, because both are counted per person: without a stable identity there would be no way to count usage or to restore what was paid for. It is an email address, a password and confirming the address — or, if you prefer, signing in with Google or with Apple, which confirm the address for you and ask you to invent no password at all.
Option A — From the app (recommended, immediate)
- Open Eikos and press "Account", visible in the header.
- Under Settings › Account and deletion, find "Delete account and data".
- Press "Delete my account" and confirm.
This permanently and immediately deletes:
- your account and its email address;
- its usage counters for the included AI;
- and, if you signed in with Apple, the permission you granted Eikos on your Apple account: Eikos revokes it with Apple before deleting anything, so the app also disappears from the "Sign in with Apple" list in your settings. That is why deletion asks you to confirm with Apple one more time;
- any associated subscription record. If an active subscription exists, Eikos cancels future renewals before deleting the account; deletion does not automatically request a refund.
It works even if the included AI or subscriptions are temporarily switched off, and needs nobody's approval. If you use the included AI again afterwards, Eikos creates a fresh session unrelated to the previous one.
What it does NOT delete, and why
Your local projects, data and analyses are untouched. That is not an oversight: they never left your device, so there is nothing to delete on any server. They remain after deletion, and are removed like any other local data: by uninstalling Eikos or clearing the app's data from your operating system settings. Your own AI key, if you set one, is erased the same way.
Globally aggregated counters —how many calls there were in total in a month— may be retained; no individual can be reconstructed from them. They are capacity statistics, not personal data.
Option B — By email
You do not need Eikos to be installed, open, or downloaded again. Send the request from your account address so we can verify ownership. We answer within 30 days at the latest.
Your rights
Besides erasure, you may request access, rectification, restriction, objection and portability. If you use Eikos without the included AI, we hold no personal data about you. The detail is in the privacy policy.
